Old Armor Beer Company is a craft brewery located in the heart of downtown. We specialize in creating unique craft beers and always have something new and exciting on tap. All of our beers are brewed on site using the best ingredients and are crafted to provide the perfect balance of flavor and character.

Blonde Bombshell 4.4%
The Belgian-style blonde ale is typically easy-drinking, with a low but pleasing hop bitterness. This is a light- to medium-bodied ale, with a low malt aroma that has a spiced and sometimes fruity-ester character. Beer is named after a WW2 B-17 bomber as a blast from the past experience.

Tacti-Cool – Citrus Wheat Ale 4.7%
SEASONAL — The Tacti-Cool, like all American Wheat Ales is an extremely approachable craft beer similar to the German Hefeweizen. But true to its name the Tacti-Cool is a beer with bunch of additions that it doesn’t really need. Within the Tacti-Cool there is Blood Orange, Tangerines and Grapefruit all aimed to give it that extreme citrus taste that is great for brunch or weekend drinking.

SGT. Poppy
Raspberry Sour 4.8%
Low in alcohol, refreshingly tart, and often served with a flavored syrup like Woodruff or raspberry, the Berliner-style Weisse presents a harmony between yeast and lactic acid. These beers are very pale in color, and may be cloudy as they are often unfiltered. Hops are not a feature of this style, but these beers often do showcase esters. Sgt. Poppy is a raspberry flavored Berliner-style weisse.

Red Line Ale – Pale Ale 5%
ANNUAL CHARITY BEER — Characterized by floral, fruity, citrus-like, piney, resinous American hops, the American pale ale is a medium-bodied beer with low to medium caramel, and carries with it a toasted maltiness. The Red Line is a tribute to the Hop forward West Coast Pale ale seen often with the largest promoter of the style Sierra Nevada.

Jadotville – Dry Irish Mint Chocolate Stout 5%
SEASONAL — Dry stout is black beer with a dry-roasted character thanks to the use of roasted barley. The Jadotville is a Mint Chocolate version of the celebrated Irish style, which brings a level to sweetness to usual bitter beer. The name Jadotville comes from a controversial UN expedition into the Congo in which Irish soldiers repelled thousands of African mercenaries in the town of Jadotville, Netflix recently made a movie about the famed last stand called the “Siege of Jadotville.”

MOAB Ale “Mother Of All Brown” Ales (5.8% ABV.)
SEASONAL — An English Brown ale with malty yet hoppy flavor profile. The MOAB has a honey-caramel taste to it. The name MOAB, dedicated to the largest conventional bomb in the US Military arsenal, is fitting as this beer is particularly flavorful for a traditional English brown ale. (Brown ales originate in England and Belgium, from the 100% brown malt and low hoppiness)

Blue Falcon - Belgian Triple 9.1%

Oh Dark Thirty – Imperial Stout 10.2%
The American-style imperial stout is the strongest in alcohol and body of the stouts. Black in color, these beers typically have an extremely rich malty flavor and aroma with full, sweet malt character. Bitterness can come from roasted malts or hop additions. The Oh Dark Thirty is infused with cocoa nibs and vanilla bean during the fermentation process to make it a chocolate vanilla stout. The ODT is named after the time when most combat troops would attack in the middle of the night, dark like midnight but an explosion of taste.

5.56 IPA 6.4%
The India Pale Ale is a hoppy beer style within the broader category of pale ale. The export style of pale ale, which had become known as India pale ale, developed in England around 1840, later became a popular product there to export to India. The 5.56 is a citrus inspired IPA that resembles a Dank West Coast style IPA. The 5.56 is the caliber round most commonly used by NATO coalition forces, i.e. Kyle, Stefan and Dick

Dustoff Hazy IPA 7.2%
The New England IPA was the byproduct of a goal to craft a highly aromatic, juicy and soft beer as a counter to the more aggressive, dank West Coast-style IPA. The Dustoff is a particularly low bitter beer, that makes it very approachable for non-IPA drinkers. Named in honor of the Flight Medic pilots of the war in Afghanistan.

7.62 DIPA - 8.7%
The New England IPA was the byproduct of a goal to craft a highly aromatic, juicy and soft beer as a counter to the more aggressive, dank West Coast-style IPA. The Dustoff is a particularly low bitter beer, that makes it very approachable for non-IPA drinkers. Named in honor of the Flight Medic pilots of the war in Afghanistan.
